France: Listen to Amir’s new song in collaboration with popular Greek singer Nikos Vertis

Amir, the Frence representative at Eurovision 2016 with the entry “J’ai Cherché” is a back with a new song in collaboration this time with one of Greece’s most popular singers, Nikos Vertis. The song is titled Si on n’aime qu’une fois / I Leksi S’ Agapo which means “The word i Love you” 

Amir and Nikos have joined forces in a song that is all about what it’s title refers to “The Word i Love you” . The song is written in French and Greek Lyrics and talks about the strength of love that is so big even when two people break up and can’t do without each other.

Behind the French lyrics is Amir himself along with Nazim Khaled , while the Greek lyrics are signed by Nikos Vertis. Music Producer and Composer  of the song is  Assaf Tzrouya while the Video was directed by Sherif Francis. 

About Nikos Vertis 

Nikos Vertis is one of the most popular singers in Greece. The Greek singer  was born in Gorinchem, The Netherlands and his origin is from Galipsos, Kavala in Northern Greece.  To date, he has released five studio albums along with one CD single, and two special edition CD/DVD albums. His songs have met wide acceptance in several Middle east countries, Israel, Turkey and in the Balkan Region. One of his greatest hits that crossed the Greek border is “Thelo na me niosis”( I want you to feel me) with more than 124 million views on Youtbe.

About Amir

Amit Haddad aka Amir,  is a French-Israeli singer and songwriter. He took part in 2006 in the Israeli music competition Kokhav Nolad, released his album Vayehi in 2011 and was a finalist in French competition The Voice: la plus belle voix as part of Team Jenifer finishing third in the competition. He represented France in the Eurovision Song Contest 2016 with the song “J’ai cherché”, which finished in 6th place.

He joined Stéphane Bern and Marianne James as a commentator for France 2 at the grand final of the Eurovision Song Contest 2017 in Kiev. He served as one of the domestic jury members for the semifinals of Destination Eurovision along with Christophe Willem and Isabelle Boulay to help France choose its entry for the Eurovision Song Contest 2018 in Lisbon. Along with 2019 Swedish Eurovision representative John Lundvik and famed Swedish composers Peter Boström and Thomas G:son, Amir helped co-write the song “The Best in Me” for Tom Leeb, the French representative at Eurovision Song Contest 2020 in Rotterdam, Netherlands.
