France: Tonight The Grand Final of “Destination Eurovision 2018”.

France’s national selection journey, Destination Eurovision, reaches its end tonight with the Grand Final taking place. After two semi final rounds and a total of 18 competing acts , the 8 finalists will give their final battle for the golden ticket that leads to Lisbon. Host of the night will be , as in the previous shows, the French Canadian singer  Garou.

The 8 competing acts of the night that will battle to be France’s next Eurovision 2018 representative are:

  1. Louka – Mamma mia
  2. Max Cinnamon – Ailleurs
  3. Emmy Liyana – OK ou KO
  4. Madame Monsieur – Mercy
  5. Nassi – Rêves de gamin
  6. Lisandro Cuxi – Eva
  7. Igit – Lisboa Jérusalem
  8. Malo’ – Ciao

Apart from their entry , the contestants will perform one more song alongside with another popular artist.

The 8 qualifiers from the semi final rounds , which were taped and not aired live, were determined by the votes of a three member French jury formed by  AmirIsabelle Boulay and Christophe Willem, in combination with the votes of a three member international jury formed by HOD from other countries (Christer BjörkmanNicola Caligiore and Olga Salamakha). Tonight’s grand final show will be aired live and the result will be determined by a 50-50% share of public voting and an international jury formed by :

  • Αrmenia: Iveta Mukuchyan
  • Belarus: Olga Salamakha
  • Βulgaria: Ivan Katsarev
  • Finland: Terhi Norvasto
  • Iceland: Felix Bergsson
  • Israel: Tali Eshkoli
  • Italy: Nicola Caligiore
  • Russia: Sergueï Pavlov
  • Sweden: Christer Björkman
  • Switserland: Reto Peritz

The French jury will be present at the final too, but without having the right to vote. However Amir won’t be able to attend the show, due to professional obligations, but he will be replaced by last year’s Eurovision representative, Alma.

The final of Destination Eurovision will start at 20:55 CET and you can watch the show on the official facebook page or the official site of France 2 Channel
