FYR Mcedonia: Marija Spasovska to represent the country in Junior Eurovision 2018
FYR Macedonia will be represented at the upcoming Junior Eurovision Song Contest in Minsk, Belarus by Marija Spasovska.
The Macedonian broadcaster MRT revealed that Marija Spasovska will be the country’s next JESC 2018 representative. She was chosen internally among 10 candidates that were auditioned on August 18.
The authorized jury considered Marija as the best performance that possesses extraordinary singing abilities. The 13-year-old artist has been singing since the age of 4, performing in numerous competitions and festivals. One of her latest releases is her cover of Eurovision 2012 winning song , Euphoria :
The 2018 edition of the Junior Eurovision Song Contest will be held in Minsk, Belarus . A total of twenty countries will take part in this years contest on November 26:

FYR Macedonia’s JESC story so far
The country has taken part from the very first edition of the Junior Eurovision Song Contest in 2003. On their debut they were represented by Marija & Viktorija with the song Ti ne me poznavaš finishing in the 12th place . Macedonia’s best result was achieved back in 2007 with Ding Ding Dong by Rosica & Dimitar and in 2008 with Prati mi SMS” by Bobi Andonov, both achieving a honorable 5th placing.
