Georgia: It’s Oto Nemsadze and the song “Sul Tsin Iare” for Eurovision 2019
After 5 live shows, Georgian Idol, the national selection format through which Georgia is determining this yeat its Eurovision entry reached its final show this evening, during which Oto Nemsadze and his song Sul Tsin Iare was crowned winner and the next Georgian representative in Eurovision 2019.
Hosts of the show will be Ruska Makashvili and Vaniko Tarkhnishvili. The national broadcaster GPB, had selected 3 potential Eurovision 2019 songs. This songs were performed on the Georgian Idol stage by the 4 finalists. Composers of the songs are Levan Basharuli, Roma Giorgadze and Tamar Babilua, while all three songs are written entirely in Georgian language.

The winner was determined by the Georgian and international audience that had the choice to cast its votes through cell phones and Facebook. The show’s jury formed by Stephane Mgebrishvili (Georgia 2009), Natia Todua (winner of The Voice Germany), Tinatin Berdzenishvili (Director of media of GPB) and Zaza Shengelia (CEO of Bravo Records) were present to express only its opinion on the performances.
