Georgia: Listen to the country’s JESC 2018 entry “Your Voice”
Progressively one by one of the 20 participating countries in the upcoming Junior Eurovision 2018 in Minsk, are determining and unveiling their entries. Today was Georgia’s turn to release its JESC 2018 entry during the morning TV show New Day on the national broadcaster GPB.
The Gerogian entry is entitled Your Voice and will be performed by 13 yo Tamar Edilashvili. The young artist was crowned winner of the Georgian national selection Ranina. After her win a total of 22 songs were submitted for the little Georgian representative. A jury of experts evaluated the entries and concluded in Your Voice as the most appropriate one for Junior Eurovision.
Τamar was born in Tbilisi in 2005 and this period is attending NK School-Lyceum and E. Mikeladze Central Music School. Last year she competed in the Georgian X-Factor and reached the semi final round.
Georgia in Junior Eurovision
Gerogia hold the score with the most victories in the contest as it has won the competition three times. The country participated first time back in 2007 while her first victory came just the following year with Bzikebi and their song Bzz. The next two trophies came in 2011 with the group Candy and the entry Candy Music while in 2016 Mariam Mamadashvili brought Georgia its third victory with her entry Mzeo.
