Germany: Junior Eurovision 2021 selection commences
The German Junior Eurovision 2021 selection process, has commenced with the submission period for ‘Junior ESC – Wer fährt nach Paris?’ kicking off.
‘Junior ESC – Wer fährt nach Paris?’ is the formula to be used to select the next German act for Junior Eurovision 2021 in Paris. Acts aged 9 to 14 years old can send in their application via the Kika.de website no later than June 25, 2021.
Once the submissions conclude, a jury will assess the submission and shortlist five acts which will advance to the next phase. The five acts will then make a voting clip at the KIKA studios. This will take place from July 15 to 25. Once the clips are ready an online voting will start via which the public will decide which three acts that will eventually compete in the final show of ‘Junior ESC – Wer fährt nach Paris?’.
The JESC national final with the three contestants will take place on September 10, in Erfurt with each competing act performing two songs.
