Germany: NDR to find country’s next representative
Germany’s public broadcaster , NDR, having the recent success of Michael Schulte in Lisbon and the fourth position, has already begun its searching for the country’s next representative in the contest.
Any artist, duet or group of up to six people wishing to represent Germany at Eurovision 2019 can, via the special platform created on the German TV website for the competition, submit his participation.
It is not necessary for those interested to submit a song, but only their interest is sufficient. There are no limitations as to the origin of the participants, as there is no limitation on the language of the songs to be submitted.
Clearly, however, Eurovision’s general regulations will have to be respected for up to three minutes for the song, six people on stage, not a political verse, abusive or racist content and of course not having been released on any electronic platform or other commercial before 1 September 2018.
According to the announcement, more details on how to choose the artist and song that will represent Germany in Eurovision 2019 will be announced in the near future. Also like this year, NDR will also be conducting a creator camp to compose songs to compete in the national final.
Any artist who is interested can submit his membership HERE.
