Greece: Amanda Georgiadis Tenfjord released the acoustic version for her song ‘Die Together’
The acoustic version of Amanda Georgiadis Tenfjord with the title ‘Die Together’ for Eurovision 2022 in Turin was released today.
Back in September 2021 Greek national broadcaster, ERT, following an open call for songs for Eurovision 2022, received 40 entries from 25 artists interested in representing Greece in the Eurovision Song Contest in Turin. After examining all the entries, the ERT committee selected five of those that met the Greek national broadcaster’s expectations for Eurovision 2022, which qualified for the next stage of selection. Amanda was finally selected by the ERT committee to represent Greece in Turin.
Amanda Tenfjord’s song was revealed in 10 March 2022 on ERTFlix with the release of the song on Youtube taking place at 17:30 CET.
Amanda’s song was written by her after her separation from a long-term relationship.The shooting of the music video took place in February on the Greek island of Symi, where the script of the video is influenced by the same story.
Amanda Georgiadis Tenfjord and the NTNU (Norwegian University of Science and Technology) Medical Students Choir joined forces to perform together the acoustic version of the Greek participation in Eurovision 2022 “Die Together”. This special edition was adapted by Edvard Synnes and shot by Kristoffer Skogheim.

Amanda will be performing in the second hald of the 1st semi final on May 10, 2022 in Turin.

Amanda Klara Georgiadis, born in Ioannina on January 9, 1997, artistically known as Amanda Tenfjord, is a Greek-Norwegian singer. Her father is Greek while her mother is Norwegian. At the age of 3 she moved to Norway with her family.
Amanda started taking piano lessons at the age of five. She was in the same class as artist Sigrid and said that Sigrid was her inspiration to pursue an artist career on their final day of school at Fagerlia High School.
She moved to Trondheim in 2015 to begin medical studies at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology. In 2019 she announced that she had put her demanding studies on hold to focus on music.
Amandas’s discography started in 2014 with her first single titled “Run” which won the Music Award in 2015 and appeared in a promotional video for the Personskadeforbundet LTN in 2014. In 2016 she participated in the Norwegian TV 2 The Stream music competition , where he was placed among the top 30 participants. In 2019 he played at the Trondheim Calling music festival. He was honored with the Youth Culture Award of the Municipality of Haram in 2019.

Greece in Eurovision
Greece has been taking part in the Eurovision Song contest since 1974 and has won the contest one time in 2005 with Helena Paparizou and the song ”My number one“.
Since 2004 and up to 2013 the country was one of the most successful countries in the contest, having achieved 9 times a top ten placing.
In 2021 Greece represented by Stefania who sang ‘Last Dance’ which finished 10th place with 170 points.
