Greece: ERT confirms participation in Eurovision 2022 and makes an open call for songs
Greek national broadcaster, ERT, has confirmed that it will take part in next year’s Eurovision Song Contest in Italy.
The Greek broadcaster addressed an open call for songs, calling on record companies to send their proposals for the next Eurovision song contest. The submission deadline is Sunday 10 October 2021.
The proposals should be complete and include a performer or a group, as well as one to three songs, which have not been released or presented to date either in Greece or abroad in any way. In each proposal, it will be taken into account if there is an artistic group that accompanies the performer and ideas (concept) for the promotion and presentation of the song.
Greece wants to choose its representative for Eurovision 2022 through an internal process similar to previous years.
