Greece: “Last Dance” Stefania’s Eurovision 2021 entry in Rotterdam

ERT, the Greek national broadcaster, has announced that , Stefania, will be representing Greece at Eurovision 2021 in Rotterdam with the song entitled “Last Dance”.
Greece is ready to take us back to the dance floor as Stefania will be competing at Eurovision 2021 with the dance song ‘Last Dance’.The national broadcaster revealed this afternoon the song title and the type of song that Stefania will be performing at Eurovision 2021 in Rotterdam.
Via a press release the ERT elaborates on Stefania’s ESC 2021 entry titled “Last Dance” :
With a dance song entitled “Last dance” Stefania Lymperakaki (Stefania) will represent Greece in the 65th Pan-European Song Contest of Eurovision 2021, held from 18 to 22 May in Rotterdam, the Netherlands, after its cancellation last year due to the coronavirus pandemic. “Last dance” is a composition by Dimitris Kontopoulos, Arcade, Sharon Vaughn, while the creative director for the visualization of the song will be Fokas Evangelinos.
The respective decision was taken jointly by the committee set up at ERT for the selection of the song, in collaboration with the artistic group of Stefania, which was assigned to take part in the 65th Eurovision, after listening to five songs proposed by the creators. It is reminded that Greece will appear in the Second Semifinal, which is scheduled for May 20, 2021.
In the following days Stefania will be in Greece to record the final version of the song while next month the shooting of the official music video will take place. The official presentation of the song is expected to take place in March in a way that it hasn’t yet been determined.
Stefania in Eurovision
Stefania Liberakakis was born 17 December 2002 in Utrecht, also known simply as Stefania, is a Greek–Dutch singer, actress, voice actress and YouTuber.Stefania is no stranger to the Eurovision family! In 2016 as member of the group Kisses she represented The Netherlands in στην Junior Eurovision 2016 performing the song Kisses and Dancin which came 8th.
Stefania was internally selected to represent Greece in Eurovision 2020 with her song ‘Supergi!rl’. Unfortunately the contest was cancelled due to the covid-19 pandemic depriving the the young talented act from perform in Rotterdam. ERT opted for Stefania in next year’s edition of the Eurovision Song Contest, giving to the young talented act the chance to complete her Eurovision journey in Rotterdam.
