Greece: Watch the making of “Superg!rl’s” official music video
Stefania, the internally selected Greek Eurovision 2020 rerpesentative, released today the making of the official music video of her Eurovision 2020 entry, “Superg!rl”.
In the first week of February, the Greek national broadcaster, ERT, had internally selected Stefania to represent the country at Eurovision 2020 in Rotterdam. Just a month later Stefania’s Eurovision entry , Superg!rl , was released along with its official music video. Today the making of Superg!rl’s video was released on Youtube, shedding light on the how the music video was directed and takes us behind the cameras to unveil how the filming of the video took place.
Konstantinos Karydas was behind the script and direction of Superg!rl’s music video while a team of 80 people were involved in the whole process of filming. Today’s release unveils how the filming unfolded in Athens in the New Hotel and different other locations in the Athens such as Flisvos Marina and Fokas Evangelinos‘ dancing school. The video shows Stefania’s preparations alongside with the rest of the casting that takes part in the shooting and the how Karydas instructed the people involved so as the secenes add up to an outstanding music video.
The Song
Superg!rl is an contemporary uptempo pop song with ethnic elements urging the young people to believe in themselves and go after their dreams. The song is inspired by Stefania’s daily life and th strenght she finds to combine her school obligations and her love for music. Composers of the song are Dimitris Kontopoulos and Arcade while the team of its lyricists includes Dimitris Kontopoulos, Arcade and Sharon Vaughn.
