Hungary: Tonight A Dal 2019 kicks off
The first heat of A Dal 2019, Hungary’s national selection format for the Eurovision Song Contest 2019 in Tel Aviv, will take place tonight. Ten acts will compete in tonight’s show that will start at 19:30 CET in order to secure one of the 6 spots for the semi-finals:
– Antal Tímea feat. Demko Gergő – “Kedves Világ!”
– Berkes Olivér – “Világítótorony”
– DENIZ – “Ide várnak vissza”
– Hamar Barni – “Wasted”
– Konyha – “Százszor visszajátszott”
– Nomad – “A remény hídjai”
– Oláh Gergő – “Hozzád bújnék”
– Pátkai Rozina – “Frida”
– Szekér Gergő – “Madár, repülj!”
– Váray László – “Someone who lives like this”
Tonight’s results will be determined after two rounds of voting. The first 5 qualifiers will be determined by the combination of scores from each judge and a public vote through SMS, online voting and mobile app. A public vote will determine the sixth qualifier out of the remaining 5 acts that were not in the initial top 5 of the first round. The jury members are:
– Feró Nagy (lead singer of the Hungarian band “Beatrice”)
– Lilla Vincze (lead singer of the Hungarian band Napoleon Boulevard and part of the Hungarian jury in the Eurovision Song Contest 2018)
– Misi Mező (the lead singer of the Hungarian band “Magna Cum Laude”)
– Miklós Both (composer)
Host of the night will be once again Freddie, who represented Hungary at the Eurovision Song Contest 2016. He will be joined by the Hungarian singer Bogi Dallos.
