Iceland: The results of the first semi final
RÚV the National Broadcaster of Iceland held the 1st Semi Final of Söngvakeppnin 2017. The Semi Final took place in Háskólabíó.
In the semi finals, only the audience is permitted to vote. All the songs were presented in the Icelandic Language.
The six acts today were:
- Aron Hannes Emilsson – Nótt
- Hildur – Bammbaramm
- Rúnar Eff Rúnarsson – Mér við hli
- Júlí Heiðar Halldórsson & Þórdís Birna Borgarsdóttir – Heim til þín
- Erna Mist Pétursdóttir – Skuggamynd
- Arnar Jónsson & Rakel Pálsdóttir – Til mín
After televoting the 3 acts that moved on to the Final Show are:
1. Rúnar Eff Rúnarsson – »Mér við hli»
2.Aron Hannes Emilsson – »Nótt»
3.Arnar Jónsson & Rakel Pálsdóttir – »Til mín»
The Second Semi final of Söngvakeppnin 2017 will be held on the 4th of March.
