Iceland 2017: The semi-final shows of Söngvakeppnin 2017

Iceland’s Broadcaster announced today who artist will appear in each semi final of Söngvakeppnin 2017. The 12 artists have been devided into the 2 semi final show (6 in each). From each semi final the 3 artists with the most votes from the televoting will continue into the Final show. In the Final show a jury and the televoters will choose the 2 songs which will procede to the Superfinal. In the Superfinal only the televoters will choose the winner and their representative for Kiev.

1ος Semi Final – 25 February

2. Hildur Kristín Stefánsdóttir – Bammbaramm
3. Rúnar Eff Rúnarsson – Mér við hli
4. Júlí Heiðar Halldórsson and Þórdís Birna Borgarsdóttir  – Heim til þín
5. Erna Mist Pétursdóttir – Skuggamynd
6. Arnar Jónsson & Rakel Pálsdóttir – Til mín

2ος Semi Final – 4 March

1. Aron Brink – Þú hefur dáleitt mig
2. Daði Freyr Pétursson – Hvað með það?
3. Svala Björgvinsdóttir – Ég veit það’ / Paper
4. Páll Rósinkranz and Kristina Bærendsen – Þú og ég
5. Linda Hartmanns – Ástfangin
6. Sólveig Ásgeirsdóttir – Treystu á mig

The Final Show will be aired on the 11th of March. The artists will perform their songs in Icelandic but in the Final they will use the language that they will use in Kiev. Måns Zelmerlöw, winner of 2015, will perform live in the Final.
