Iceland: Hatari and Hera Björk to the final of Söngvakeppnin 2019
Moments ago, the first semi-final of the Icelandic national selection Söngvakeppnin 2019 aired, with only two acts proceeding to the final.
The finalists were determined by a mixture of public voting and jury votes. Also, RÚV, the Icelandic broadcaster has revealed that they may select a fifth finalist as a wild card.
The acts that participated in tonights show were:
- Hatari – Hatrið mun sigra
- Hera Björk – Eitt andartak
- Kristina Skoubo Bærendsen – Ég á mig sjálf
- Þórdís Imsland – Nú og hér
- Daníel Óliver – Samt ekki
Eventually the two finalists from tonight’s semi final show were:
- Hatari – Hatrið mun sigra
- Hera Björk – Eitt andartak
The next semi-final of Söngvakeppnin 2019 will be aired next Saturday, February 16.
