INFEvision Video Contest 2020: Ego ft Ben Cristovao and Sima to represent Slovakia with the song “PUMPA”.
INFEvision 2020, the video contest held by the International Network of Fan Clubs of Eurovision (I.N.F.E) is unfolding this week with the presentation of the competing acts and songs.
The INFEvision 2020 line up continues to unfold with the next representative coming from Slovakia! The INFE Slovakia fan community has selected Ego, Ben Cristovao and Sima to represent Slovakia at INFEvision 2020 with his song ‘PUMPA’.
A few words about Ego
JUDr. Michal Straka (November 8, 1983 , Lučenec ), known under the stage name Ego , is a Slovak rapper and also a trained lawyer . He is a member of the group Kontrafakt together with Rytmus and DJ Anys. Recently, he began his solo career with the release of the single “ We only live once “, which in 2012 became a hit no. 1 on Slovak radios.
His first solo album was released in December 2017 under the title Precedent and contains 15 songs featuring several members of the Slovak and Czech rap scene. Among them are Rytmus , Paulie Garand , LVCAS Dope , Ben Cristovao , Hahacrew , Yzomandias , Gýza and Tomi Popovič . Producers such as Madskill , Peter Pann , Dalyb and Robert Burian collaborated on the album. In September 2020 he released his 2nd solo album called Egotron .

INFEvision 2020
This year’s edition was launched in the first days of October with INFE Romania revealing the INFEvision 2020 slogan “Riding the Ages” . From that point all INFE clubs were given a period until end of October to confirm participation to the host country. A total of 19 countries around the globe will eventually be participating in this year’s contest, which is a new record number for the competition itself after last year’s 18 countries. Unfortunately Armenia and Azerbaijan decided to withdraw due to the war conflict in Nagorno-Karabakh (Artsakh).
The Grand final is set to take place on December 19 in the city of Resita in Romania.
