INFEvision Video Contest 2020: LEA x MAJAN to represent Germany with the song ‘Beifahrersitz’

INFEvision 2020, the video contest held by the International Network of Fan Clubs of Eurovision (I.N.F.E) is unfolding this week with the presentation of the competing acts and songs.

The INFEvision 2020 line up continues to unfold with the representative from Germany. The local INFE Germany club run by the fan community of ESCapenews  has selected LEA x MAJAN to represent Germany with the song ‘Beifahrersitz’ (Passenger seat).

About Lea

At the age of 6 she sat down at her father’s piano for the first time and at the age of 11 she occupied the living room for days to compose her first songs. At the age of 16 she wrote her first hit and landed a YouTube success with the song “Where do you want to go?” The song was clicked more than 3.2 million times, reached number 11 in the German charts as a remix with the DJ duo “Gestört aber GeiL” in 2017 and was awarded platinum.

With hits like “Leiser”, “Immer Wenn wir sehn”, “110 (Prolog)” and “Staircase”, LEA is one of the most successful artists in Germany. Her songs tell of her life like diary entries set to music: personal, vulnerable, strong and always authentic. This is also the case on their current album “Staircase”, which is now being followed by an expanded deluxe edition. In addition to the original songs, the new edition contains her single “Beifahrersitz” with MAJAN as well as three other songs: “Das Leben (You were always like this)”, “Black” and the new single “You do it again and again”, a moving beat from pop -, singer-songwriter and electronic elements accented with LEA’s classic piano sound.

INFEvision 2020

This year’s edition was launched in the first days of October with INFE Romania revealing the INFEvision 2020 slogan “Riding the Ages” . From that point all INFE clubs were given a period until end of October to confirm participation to the host country.  A  total of 19 countries around the globe will eventually be participating in this year’s contest, which is a new record number for the comeptition itself after last year’s 18 countries. Unfortunately Armenia and Azerbaijan decided to withdraw due to the war conflict in Nagorno-Karabakh ( Artsakh).

The Grand final is set to take place on December 19 in the city of Resita in Romania.
