Ireland: Brendan Murray goes through the Six Chair Challenge round on X-factor UK 2018
Even closer to th live shows of the X-Factro UK 2018 is the Irish Eurovision 2017 act , Brendan Murray.
The Irish artist passed with success through the auditions and Bootcamp rounds and achieved to win a spot in the Boy’s category team after going through the Six-Chair Challenge round and receiving remarkable commets. In this phase he chose to perform the song Everybody Hurts and the result was rather impressive.

Mentor of the boy’s team this year is Louis Tomlinson, former member of One Direction, who gave Brendan the so called “safe seat” which meant no other contestant could claim his spot.Last step before the live shows is the Judges’ Houses round which will be broadcasted the following days.
On the other hand, Cezar Ouatu, Romania’s ESC 2013 representative didn’t make it to the next round even though he got good comments on his performance in the auditions. His mentor gave him initially a chair but swtiched him eventually with another contestant.
In the girls category Πιθανόν Gaia Cauchi, Malta’s representative and winner of Junior Eurovision 2013 didn’t make it to the six chair challenge. The X factor UK is in its 15th years and score high TV ratings all these year’s attracting more and more international acts in its auditions.
