Israel: About 200 entries submitted to KAN for Kobi Marimi
According to Israel Hayom about 200 songs have been submitted to KAN to represent the host country in Eurovision 2019.

Israeli local media report that circa 200 entries have been submitted to KAN for Eurovision 2019. From the beginning of the month the Israeli broadcaster, KAN, had opened the submission window for entries, the deadline for which expired yesterday. We remind you that on February 12 Israel chose Kobi Marimi to be the next Eurovision representative through the talent show The Rising Star 2019.
THE PROCESS
The song that Kobi will perform on the Eurovision stage next May will be selected internally and will be offcially released on March 10 on the Eurovision stage next May. The jury that will select the song is formed by Aviad Zingboym (Chairman), Yuval Ganor, Naama Hadassi and Michal Asulin, Yoav Tzafir and Tamira Yardeni. The committee met for the firs time today in order to listen to the songs while tomorrow , the committee will continue its work by evealuating all the submitted song.
