Israel: HaKokhav HaBa L’Eurovizion 2nd semi final results; Grand final line up completed
The second semi final of HaKokhav HaBa L’Eurovizion (The Next Star), took place this evening and determined the last two finalists of the Israeli national selection for Eurovision 2020.
Following the first semi final round tonight the second set of four contestants competed for the last two spots of the grand final. The four acts we saw performing today were:
- Raviv Kaner
- Gaya Shaki
- Or Amrami-Brockman
- Moran Aharoni
The semi final consisted of two rounds. During the first round the contestants competed in duels before the judges ( Static & Ben-El Tavori, Keren Peles, Shiri Maimon (Israel 2005) , Assaf Amdursky and Itay Levy), and the audience that was present in the studio. The votes of the jury and audience selected two acts that passed to the next round while the jury save one more act from the non qualfiers.
- Raviv Kaner (80%)
- Gaya Shaki (69% – saved by the jury)
- Or Amrami-Brockman (83%)
After the first round, the 3 candidates performed a song of their choice and the two who received the most votes from the audience and the jury, won the ticket the grand final . Below follow the two acts that qualified and will join in the grand final the two act that qualified from the first semi final:
Gaya Shaki – 78 points
Or Amrami-Brockman – 86 points
Therefore after this evening’s 2nd semi final show, the grand final line up was completed. In the final show that will take place on Tuesday 4 February we will one of the four following acts selected as Israel’s Eurovision 2020 act:
- Ella-Lee Lahav
- Eden Alene
- Gaya Shaki
- Or Amrami-Brockman
