Israel: HaKokhav HaBa L’Eurovizion first heat of the 16 acts’ phase takes place

Last week we saw the 3rd round of the HaKokhav HaBa L’Eurovizion show determining the 16 acts that will continue on the talent show that will select Israel’s Eurovision 2020 act. Last evening the first heat of the next phase took place with 8 out of  16 acts giving the battle to come closer to represent Israel at Eurovision 2020. 

During this first heat we saw 8 acts taking the stage and performing in duels before the audience and the jury formed by  Static & Ben-El Tavori, Keren Peles, Shiri Maimon (Israel 2005) and Assaf Amdursky, while Harel Skaat (Israel 2010) was replaced by the singer Itay Levy.

The winner from each duel qualified to the next round. Therefore the four acts that made it to the next round according to the results were the following:

1st Duel 

Eden Alene & Moran Aharoni (92%) – Qualified 

Dorel Saadon & Eden Zohar Sivan (75%)

2nd Duel 

HaTavlinim (60%)

Ohad Shragai  (77%) – Qualified

3rd Duel 

Avihu Pinhasov Rhythm Club(45%)

Loai Ali (78%) – Qualified

4th Duel 

Linoy and Gil (35%)

Raviv Kaner (67%) – Qualified

The Israeli talent show will continue with the next set of 8 acts in order to determine the last 4 qualifiers from this round of 16.
