Israel: Listen to Imri Ziv’s latest single “Imrico”

Israel’s representative at the Eurovision Song Contest 2017 in Kiev Imri Ziv has released his latest single “Imrico”. It marks his first work and release after his Eurovision 2017 entry “I Feel Alive”.

“Imrico” is an uptempo and rhythmical summer tune, combining Israeli and Latin American elements with its Caribbean sounds and Latin rhythms and Hebrew and Spanish lyrics. The title of the song is a play on words as beside his name he added the word “Rico” that means rich in Spanish, which Imri pronounces in an Argentine accent in his latest release.

Imri Ziv performed as a backing vocalist with Nadav Guedj singing “Golden Boy” (Israel 2015) and Hovi Star singing “Made of Stars” (2016), with both qualifying to the finals. After winning “HaKokhav HaBa” Imri Ziv himself represented Israel in Kiev with his song “I Feel Alive” in 2017. He competed in the second half of the second semi-final at the Eurovision Song Contest 2017 and managed to qualify for the Grand Final, in which he finished in the 23rd place with only 39 points.
