Israel: The final versions of the three national selection songs have gone public
The final version of the songs to compete in the Israeli National final for Eurovision 2021 , sung by Eden Alene, have leaked earlier than the scheduled date of release.
Although the three songs that have made it to the final of the Israeli song selection, HaShir HaBa L’Eurovizion, to select Eden Alene’s ESC 2021 entry, were set to be released by KAN on January 18, the final versions leaked today by Israel Hayom.
According to KAN’s timeline the songs were to go public one day ahead of the online voting. Depsite the songs being leaked earlied the online voting will open as scheduled on January 19.
The winning entry will be presented in the special broadcast, “Our Eurovision Song,” which will air on January 25, uveiling the creators of the three songs, music videos and the public’s’ choice for Eurovision 2021.

Last year Eden Alene won the talent show “The next Star” and the ticket to Rotterdam where she was going to perform the nationally selected song Feker Libi. Due to the covid-19 pandemic the contest was cancelled interrupting Eden’s Eurovision journey. However Eden must find a new song for next year’s competition after EBU’s decision to not allow to the Eurovision 2020 entries to compete in the 2021 edition of the contest .
