Italy: Mahmood releases his new single “Rapide”
After his Eurovision record breaking entry, “Soldi” and his follow up single “Barrio” Mahmood made the next step with one more new single entitled “Rapide”.
The road of glory is open wide for the Italian act and “Rapide” is taking him to the same direction of success. Mahmood’s new song is different from his previous work. Composers of the song are Mahmood himself , Dario Faini (as Dardust) and Francesco Catitti, while behind the video production is Dardust.

Mahmood in Eurovision
The Italian act after winning Sanremo Music Festival among 24 contestants went on representing the country at the 64th Eurovision Song Contest in Tel Aviv. Combining Italian lyrics with a piece of Arabic in his entry “Soldi” he was from the beginning a favorite to win. Eventually he was the runner up with 472 points ( 253 points from televoting and 219 points from national juries)
