Italy: Meta & Moro Granted Revenue to a NGO
This year’s winners of the Sanremo Festival and representatives of Italy in the 63rd Eurovision Song Contest, Ermal Meta & Fabrizio Moro, have made yet another high symbolic movement proving how authentic and active citizens are. As it has been known, the revenue from the intellectual rights from “Avete Fatto Niente”,the song that led them to the first place at the historic Ligurian festival, as well as the fifth place in Lisbon, to the social organization EMERGENCY.
EMERGENCY is an independent social organization in Italy, founded in 1994, providing free and high-quality health services to war victims, as well as those in need. EMERGENCY promotes the values of culture, peace, solidarity and respect for human rights.
Perhaps the words are unnecessary for these two wonderful musicians who, with their music and their lives, are trying to make our world better.
Ermal Meta & Fabrizio Moro, after winning the Sanremo Festival, accepted RAI proposal and represented Italy at Eurovision 2018, with the same song that brought them the gold palm in Sanremo. “Non Mi Avete Fatto Niente” won third place in televoting and fifth overall.
