Italy: Several Eurovision stars join forces with RAI to raise funds for the country’s Civil Protection Service
The Italian broadcaster, RAI, in collaboration with Latarma Management S.r.l. will air the special program,“Musica che Unisce” (Music that Unites) on RAI 1 on March 31, in order to raise money for the country’s Civil Protection Service which is in full steam trying to combat the coronavirus outbreak that has hit the country hard.
While the coronavirus outbreak has brought an uprising number of deaths in the country testing the health care system the Italian broadcaster will be broadcasting a special show in order to reinforce financially the Civil Protection’s combat to deal with the crisis.
A large group of artists will appear on the show aiming to contribute to RAI’s objective, among which several Eurovision stars. Namely, Diodato (2020), Emma Marrone (2014), Ermal Meta (2018), Francesca Michielin (2016), Francesco Gabbani (2017), Gianni Morandi (1970), Mahmood (2019), Marco Mengoni (2013) are some of the Eurostars to appear on the show.
Additionally, several big names of the Italian music industry will be present to help the course among which Alessandra Amoroso, Andrea Bocelli, Brunori Sas, Calcutta, Cesare Cremonini, Elisa, Fedez, Gazzelle, Gigi D’Alessio, Levante, Ludovico Einaudi, Måneskin, Negramaro, Paola Turci, Riccardo Cocciante, Tiziano Ferro and Tommaso Paradiso.
However all the acts-volunteers will appear from their homes due to health security reasons, taking in mind the coronavirus spread accross the country.
