JESC 2018: A new participant to debut

We are at this year’s Eurovision peak and some very good news came to light from Wales regarding the institution of our young artists, Junior Eurovision. As the S4C Welsh Network announced via its Twitter account, this year in Minsk, Belarus, we will have the country’s debut at JESC.

The search format of their first representative will be a national final and will be called “Chwilio am Seren” or in English “Search For A Star”, while the site for this purpose is already ready (chech here).

The national final will consist of six new talents while is expected to be interpreted  in Welsh. Wales will not compete under the UK flag as the S4C has chosen to represent Wales alone. The United Kingdom has taken part in the past in the institution but stopped participating in it a few years ago. It is still unknown whether other regions of the UK may be allowed to compete separately.

Looking forward to seeing what the Wailes are about to begin with.
