JESC 2020 first shots: Kazakhstan’s Karakat Bashanova records the performance of her JESC entry “Forever”

The first shots from Karakat Bashanova’s performance of Kazakhstan’s entry ‘Forever’ have been released revealing how the Kazakh hopeful will deliver her JESC entry.
Karakt takes to the stage in order to record the performance of her song ‘Forever’ through which the 12 y0 act aims to bring another good result for her country which so far in it two first participations has finished 6th (2018) and 2nd (2019)
The Kazakh hopeful travelled to Warsaw to record her performance earlier this month. She appears alone on the stage wearing a beautiful impressive white gown with wings giving a fairytale aspect of her performance. As she delivers the song the graphics in the background display wild mountains top creating an imaginery scene.
About Karakat
Karakat started singing at 5 years old and started having vocal lessons at the age of 9. Not long after, she began to practice vocals from singers on YouTube. She is now enrolled at a music boarding school named after famous Kazakh opera singer Kulyash Baisetova, where she plays the piano and violin.
Karakat has participated in several singing contests in the region, as she was a finalist in ‘The Voice of Children 2018’ and also took 3rd place at the II open children’s vocal festival ‘Happy Child 2019’.
The 12-year-old performer has dedicated her song Forever to her father. The song was written by Khamit Shangaliyev, the same composer who wrote Yerzhan Maxim’s song for Junior Eurovision Song Contest last year.
