Junior Eurovision 2020: TVP & EBU conference takes place this afternoon; Online voting opens today!
Only two days to go for the final show of Junior Eurovision 2020 and TVP joined by EBU will be holding a press conference this afternoon while the online voting is set to open later in the evening.
Early this morning the EBU released pictures of the stage ready to host this year’s contest. Also rehearsals of the interval acts will take place today while in the afternoon a TVP&EBU press conference is set to take place with the online voting scheduled to open in the evening. TVP & EBU Press Conference ( 14:00 CET)
The host broadcaster TVP and EBU will be holdng a joint press conference this afternoon which TVP President Jacek Kurski and EBU Executive Supervisor Martin Österdahl will attend along with last year’s winner Viki Gabor. Although the press wasn’t able to travel this year to attend the event media outlets accross the globe have the chance to submit their questions through mail. Junior Eurovision 2020 Online voting opens at 20:00 CET
The online voting for Junior Eurovision 2020 will open today at 20:00 CET and fans will be able to cast their votes until Sunday, November 29, at 16:59 CET. The online voting will reopen for 15 minutes during Sunday’s final show. Voters will watch a repcap of 1 minute clips of the competing songs and will be able to vote for three songs maximum. Voters can vote for their own country and cast their choice one time only per device.
A total of 12 countries are competing in this year’s contest while Poland is hosting the competition for a second successive year. The final show is set to take place on November 29, 17:00 CET . Due to the covid-19 pandemic, Junior Eurovision 2020 will be held in a recording studio at the headquarters of Polish Television in Warsaw at Woronicza Street.
