Latvia: Aminata the winner of Supernova!
Supernova , the procedure through which Latvia chooses it’s representative for the upcoming Eurovision Song Contest reached to an end with tonight’s grand Final that was aired on LTV, Latvia’s national broadcaster.
Four contestants performed on stage and try to persuade the public to give its votes so as to win the golden ticket for Vienna. The 4 finalist were:
- Aminata – Love injected
- MNTHA – Nefelibata
- ElektroFolk – Sundance
- Markus Riva – Take me down
The voting procedure consisted of two rounds , a first round where the two were eliminated and a final second round between the two artists left. Aminata with her song Love Injected was declared the winner having a clear head from the beginning of the night and leaving in second place Markus Riva.
Last year Latvia was represented by Aarzemneiki and the entry Cake to bake which didn’t manage to qualify to the Grand Final ending up 13th in the semi final.
