Latvia: Citi Zēni released the Music Video for their song ”Eat Your Salad”
The music video of the band Citi Zēni with the title ”Eat Your Salad” for Eurovision 2022 in Turin was released today.
Following their victory in the latvian national selection in February 2022, the band Citi Zēni released today the official music video of the song they will perform in Turin, entitled ”Eat Your Salad”.
”Eat Your Salad” was written by Jānis Pētersons & Dagnis Roziņs and produced by JJ Lush.
“Citi Zēni” singer Jānis Pētersons describes the idea behind the video:
“The official music video is full of humorous references to Eurovision, different European cultures and pop music trends.”

The band Citi Zēni will be performing in the first hald of the 1st semi final on May 10, 2022 in Turin.

Citi Zēni is a Latvian pop band with six members:

- Reinis Višķeris – keyboards
- Krišjānis Ozols – guitar

- Toms Kagainis – drums
Citi Zēni was founded in March 2020 in a songwriting camp outside Riga. In 2021, the band released their debut album ”Suņi Iziet Ielās”.
Latvia in Eurovision
Latvia has been taking part in the Eurovision Song contest since 2000 and has won the contest one time in 2002 with the Marie N and the song ”I wanna“.
In 2021 Latvia represented by Samanta Tīna who sang “Still Breathing” but failed to qualify for the final, finishing 17th in the second semi-final with 14 points.
