Latvia made its debut in the Eurovision Song Contest in 2000, and won the first win in 2002 with Marie N and the song “I Wanna”. Supernova was first used as the national selection process since 2015, and brought Latvia again to the Final after many years of absence. Last year, the country was represented by Triana Park with the song “Line” which ended in the last position of the first semifinal.
