After 4 qualifying rounds, 2 semi-finals and a total of 49 candidates, Lithuania has chosen its representative for the Eurovision Song Contest 2019. It is Jurijus with his entry “Run With The Lions” who will be flying the Lithuanian flag in Tel Aviv.

Jurijus won both the public televote and the jury vote and will therefore represent Lithuania at the Eurovision Song Contest 2019. LRT reportedly was (and still is) investigating allegations and reports that Jurijus winning song had been revealed before the allowed date of September 1, 2018. The whole issue has been reported to the EBU, which will evaluate if there is any breach of rules by Jurijus.
