Lithuania: Monika Linkytė and Vaidas Baumila to fly the flag in Vienna.

The final of Eurovizija 2015, the Lithuanian national selection, took place this evening , having three artists competing to represent Lithuania in the upcoming Eurovision Song Contest in Vienna.

The three  finalists, Mia, Monika Linkytė and Vaidas Baumila, performed for the last time on the national selection. Before the final show, it was decided that Mia would compete as a solo artist whilst Monika and Vaidas would compete as a duo. The results was determined by the jury’s and public’s voting 50-50 like in the previous seven shows.

Both public and jury voted as their favorite to go to Vienna Monika and Vaidas, who will sing on the Eurovision song contest stage the song This Time.

Last year, Vilija Matačiūnaitė  represented Lithuania at the 2014 Eurovision Song Contest in  Copenhagen, with her entry Attention, Vilija performed in the second semi-final ending up in the 11th position with a total of 36 points and failed  to qualify to the Grand Final.
