Malta: The Girls and Boys that continue to the Live shows after the Judges’ Houses on X-factor Malta

As the Chair Challenge round is completed, the six qualifiers from each category (Girls,Boys,Overs, Groups) will face now their mentors in Judges’ Houses in order to determine which three acts from each team will pass to the live shows and come closer to their dream to represent Malta at Eurovision 2020. 

After six chair Challenge , six acts for each team head to their mentor’s house where they have to perform before them and their special guests. From each team the mentor must come down to his final three that will move on to the Live shows. This Sunday it was time for the Girls’ and Boys’ category to go through the Judges’ Houses stage.

THE GIRLS

The six girls that competed in the Judges’ Houses phase were: Gail Attard, Karin DuffDestiny Chukunyere, Jasmine AbelaJustine Shorfid and Marija Bellia. The girls went over to  Ira Losco’s house, where she was expecting them with  Louisa Johnson , the winner of X-Factor UK 2015. The three girls that stood out for Ira and won the ticket to the Live Shows are:

  • Destiny Chukunyere

  • Jasmine Abela

  • Justine Shorfid

THE BOYS

The six boys that competed in the Judges’ Houses phase were:  Giovanni, Jurgen VolkovDav. JrMatt BlxckKarl Schembri and Kyle Cutajar. The boys visited Ray Mercieca’s house  , who welcomed them alongside with Amelia Lily, finalist of X-Factor UK 2011. The three boys that won their way to the Live Shows are :

  • Dav. Jr

  • Kyle Cutajar

  • Karl Schembri

Next Sunday it the Overs’ and the Groups turn to go through the  Judges’ houses while six more acts ( three from each category) will qualify to the Live shows.
