Moldova: Natalia Gordienko announced for Eurovision 2021

The Moldovan national broadcaster, TRM, has re-invited Natalia Gordienko back for next year’s Eurovision song contest and will represent the country in Rotterdam.
Natalia Gordienko will fly the Moldovan flag in Eurovision 2021 , marking one more country that will contine with this its ESC 2020 hopeful. Natalia herserlf unveiled the news on her official Instagram account by writting in the introductive text that she is confirmed asr the 2021 Eurovision Moldovan represetantative.
Moldova in Eurovision
Moldova debuted in Eurovision in 2005 and has partaken in every year since then. Its best results came in 2017 when Sunstroke Project with Hey Mama finished 3rd. In 2018 the country was represented by DoReDos anf their entry Lucky Day, which finished 10th in the final. In 2019 Anna Odobescu flew the flag in Tel Aviv performing her power ballad “Stay” but despite her amazing vocal performance didn’t make it to the grand final.
Natalia Gordienko won the Moldovan national final with her entry ‘Prison‘ and was to set to represent the nation in Eurovision 2020 but saw her Eurovision journey interrupted as the contest was cancelled due to the covid-19 pandemic.
