Moldova: O Melodie Pentru Europa national final to be held on March 3
The national broadcaster of Moldova, Teleradio Moldova (TRM) has announced that the national final of O Melodie Pentru Europa,the event through which the country will be held on March 3.
The interested acts can send in their entries to TRM until January 18. Each application should include the following details:
- A application form mentioning name, surname, date fo birth, address and contact information of the candidate.
- the copyright protection of the song and the song’s text is made in the form of a note confirming that the song is original, not published before 1 September 2018, is the author’s creation and may be performed by the participant
- the printed version of the song text and its translation, if its language is other than Romanian
- the track in MP3 version.
On March 2 a semi final round will take place while the O Melodie Pentru Europa final will be held on March 3. Last year the national selection didn’t include a semi final round due to the low turn up of entries.
Molova participated in Eurovision for the first time in 2005 and hasn’t missed a year since then. Its best results came in 2017 when Sunstroke Project with Hey Mama finished 3rd. This year the country was represented by DoReDos anf their entry Lucky Day, which finished 10th in the final.
