Moldova: The 50 candidates for “O Melodie Pentru Europa”
TRM, the Moldovan national broadcaster announced the 50 acts that will compete in the upcoming Moldovan national selection, O Melodie Pentru Europa 2015. The Moldovan broadcaster received a total of 68 entries, some of which coming from foreign artists and composers. TRM, changed the date of the live auditions that was going to be held on December 19 to January 17 . The broadcaster shortlisted the number of acts down to 50 which will proceed to the live auditions.The 50 acts that are going to compete are as listed below:

The live audition show will take place on the 17 January 2015 where a special jury will decide which 24 acts should pass to the semi-final stage of the selection. The 24 acts will then be split into 2 semi-finals – 12 acts per semi-final – which will take place on the 24 and 26 February 2015. A total of 8 acts will qualify from each semi-final, so a total of 16 acts will eventually compete in the grand final on the 28 February 2015. The winning act, which will be decided via a 50/50 televote-jury deliberation, will then go on to represent Moldova at the 2015 Eurovision Song Contest in Austria.
Cristina Scarlat was selected via the Moldovan national selection O Melodie Pentru Europa 2014 to represent her country at the 2014 Eurovision Song Contest in Copenhagen.,With her entry Wild soul but eventually didn’t manage to qualify to the grand final, ending up just 16th in the semi final.
