Montenegro: Vladana Vučinić participation in Eurovision 2022 with the title ”Breath” was released today
The participation of Vladana Vučinić with the title ”Breath” for Eurovision 2022 in Turin was released today.
Montenegro’s national broadcaster, RTCG, has internally selected Vladana to represent the country at Eurovision 2022, out of 24 applications considered by the jury. Vladana later revealed that her song is titled “Breathe”.
Today, during a special show on RTCG, Vladana presented for the first time her song for Eurovision 2022. In addition, the show featured Andrea Koevska (Northern Macedonia Eurovision 2022), Luka Vojvodić (Serbia and Montenegro ESC 2005 and Montenegro Eurovision 2016), Nina Žižić (Montenegro ESC 2013), Knez (Montenegro ESC 2001 and 2010).
Vladana’s song was written and adapted by Darko Dimitrov. It is worth noting that Dimitrov is collaborating with Montenegro for the first time for Eurovision, but has been behind many Eurovision entries in the past, including “Ninanajna” (North Macedonia 2006), “Proud” (North Macedonia 2019) and “Loco Loco” (Serbia 2021).

Vladana will be competing in the second half of the 2nd semi final on May 12, 2022 in Turin.

Vladana Vučinić Montenegrin singer and songwriter, also known as Vladana, was born on July 18, 1986.
Vladana showed an interest in music at a young age. Vladana has primary and secondary education in music, focusing on music theory and opera song. He graduated with a degree in journalism from the Montenegrin State School of Political Science.
In 2003, Vladana made her television debut on a national karaoke show, and in the same year she released her single debut at the Budva Mediterranean Festival in Budva, Montenegro.
Vladana released her first video for the single “Kao miris kokosa”, which at the time became the most watched video in Montenegro. In 2007 released her second video for the single ” Poljubac kao doručak “.
In late 2009, Vladana recorded and released her first English single, “Bad Girls Need Love Too”. A year later, in November 2010, an animated video for the song “Sinner City” was released. Vladan released her debut album, Sinner City, on December 13, 2010.
Montengro in Eurovision
Montenegro has been taking part in the Eurovision Song contest since 2007 and has not won the competition to date.
Best placing so far was in 2015 with Knez with his song ”Adio” which finished 13th in the final.
In 2019 Montenegro represented by D mol and the song ”Heaven” but failed to qualify for the final, finishing 16th in the first semi-final with 46 points.
