North Macedonia: Dajte muzika’s acts to Junior Eurovision 2021

The acts that star on MRT’s childrens’ series Dajte Muzika will be the North Macedonian representatives at Junior Eurovision 2021. 

The North Macedonian national broadcaster,  MRT , opted for an internal selection for this year’s Junior Eurovision, adjusting the process to the current situation of the pandemic of Covid-19 and the introduction of new safety protocols.

Withing this framwork tMRT revealed that  the young talented acts who star in the TV series ‘Dajte Muzika’ will be the ones to fly the flag for North Macedonia in Paris. 

About Dajte Muzika

Dajte Muzika is one of the most popular TV programms for children in North Macedonia, the main protagonists of which are a group of very talented actors and singers who in a short time became idols for the younger generations.

The have already released more than 80 songs and two albums within the show. This marks the first group that will be representing the country in its Junior Eurovision history and this year’s first competing group. 

The song that will represent country will be released within the following weeks. It will be composed by composers who are already collaborating on the project and are well acquainted with the vocal and artistic capacities of the children from the show.

 The 19th edition of the Junior Eurovision Song Contest will be held on December 19 at the spectacular La Seine Musicale Concert Hall in the City of Lights, Paris.

The story so far in Junior Eurovision

North Macedonia debuted in the contest back in the first edition of Junior Eurovision and has missed out only the editions of  2012, 2014 and 2020.

In their last participation in 2019, in Gliwice-Silesia  Mila Moskov represented the country with her song “Fire” which finished 6th, marking the country’s best result since 2008 when they finished 5th.
