North Macedonia: MRT confirms their return to Junior Eurovision in 2021

North Macedonia’s national broadcaster, MRT, has confirmed that they will be back board in Junior Eurovision 2021.

MRT, has confirmed to Eurovoix that the Balkan country will take part in the 19th edition of Junior Eurovision in Paris on December 19,2021. They are the 11th country to confirm participation in this year’s competition.

North Macedonia, previously presented in the contest as the Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia (F.Y.R. Macedonia), made their debut in the first edition of the 2003 contest missing out only the editions of 2012, 2014 and 2020. In their last participation, in 2019 in Gliwice-Silesia the nation was represented by Mila Moskov with her song “Fire” which finished 6th, marking the country’s best result since 2008 when they finished 5th.
