North Macedonia: Tamara Todevska invites us to dance to her new track “Rise”
The North Macedonian ESC 2019 representative, is progressively unwinding her new work in music releasing her new singles that will feature her third upcoming album.
Last Friday Tamara released her new single new song titled “Sloboda”. “Sloboda” is the first single from Tamara’s upcoming third studio album, which should be released by the end of the summer. The music for the song was written by Robert Bilbilov, the arrangement was made by Darko Dimitrov and the lyrics were written by Igor Dzambazov.
Today Tamara went on releasing the english version of the song titled “Rise”. The song has also being produced in Serbian. The music is by Robert Bilbilov while the song is produced by Darko Dimitrov. Behind the lyrics are Kosta Petrov and Sanja Popovska, the creative team behind Tamara’s Eurovision 2019 entry “Proud”.

Tamara had represented FYR. Macedonia in Eurovision 2008 alongside with Vrčak and Adrijan with the song Let Me Love You, which finished 10th in the second semi final. Before that she contribute to the nation’s delegation in Eurovision 2004 with Tose Proeski as a backing vocalist. In 2014 she participated as a backing vocalist for her sister Tijana with her entry “To The Sky”.
In 2019 Tamara was internally selected to fly the North Macedonian flag at Eurovision 2019 in Tel Aviv, with her entry Proud. The song was composed by Darko Dimitrov, Robert Bibliov and Lazar Cvetkoski. Tamara delivered a captivating vocal performance of “Proud” and achieved the country’s best result ever in the contest, by coming 1st in the Jury voting with 247 points and 7th on the overall scoreboard with a total of 305 points.
