Poland: Alicja Szemplińska releases music video of her Eurovision entry “Empires”
Alicja Szemplińska won the Polish national final, Szansa na Sukces, with her entry entitled “Empires”. Today Alicja released the official music video of her song .

The song is written by Patryk Kumór, Dominic Buczkowski-Wojtaszek, Laurell Barker and Frazer Mac. Patryk Kumór and Dominic Buczkowski-Wojtaszek were behind the lyrics of Poland’s Junior Eurovision winning entry “Superhero” while Laurell Barker and Frazer Mac were on the creative team of Switzerland’s Eurovision 2019 entry “She Got Me”. The song talks about people that build empires, become obsessed with power and are distracted from the really important issues in life while the same time it spots the light on some of the globe’s significant problems.
Poland will compete in the second semifinal of the Eurovision Song Contest 2020 on May 14th and Alicja will perform during the first half of the 2nd semi final.
