The Eurovision Story So Far
Poland joined the Eurovision Song Contest family back in 1994, represented then by Edyta Gorniak‘s To nie ja, who gave the the country its best result for up to date. The country which has participated 22 times in the contest , has managed a top 10 placing only three times. In 2012 due to the poor results and financial issues the country was absent from the competition for three consecutive years until 2014.
In 2018 Gromee feat Lukas Meijer represented the country with their song Light me up but unfortunately were left out of the grand final. This year Poland was represented by the folk female band Tulia who performed their entry Fire of love (Pali się) which failed to reach the grand final. This was Poland’s second successive failure to qualify to the final.
