Portugal: Listen to the country’s JESC 2018 entry “Gosto de Tudo” (Já Não Gosto de Nada)

Gosto de Tudo” (Já Não Gosto de Nada) Portugal’s Junior Eurovision 2018 entry has been officially revealed this afternoon .

Portugal’s song for the upcoming Junior Eurovision Song Contest next month in Misk, has been revealed this afternoon. “Gosto de Tudo” (Já Não Gosto de Nada) will be performed by Rita Laranjera. Writter and composer of the song is João Só who was selected by RTP. João Só has also competed in the past as a songwriter in the Portuguese Eurovision selection Festival da Canção, specifically in 2012 and 2016.  The Portuguese entry deals with teenagers in nowadays and how they connect with the rest of the world via social media

All about Rita Laranjera

Rita was selected through a row of auditions that took place earlier this year. At these auditions Rita performed covers of “Eu sei”, “Somewhere Over the Rainbow”, and “I Surrender” alongside with nine other acts. After a professional jury panel reviewed all acts’ performance and concluded in giving the golden ticket to 13 year old Rita.

 Rita Laranjeira was born on 3rd March 2005 in Sintra, Portugal. The young act has past experience of performing on stage as one can see in her several youtube videos. Additionally she had competed this year in the final of Kids Music Fest in Portugal.

Portugal in Junior Eurovision

Portugal debuted at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest back in 2006 at. The withdrew in 2008 , after two concesutive second-last placings. The retuned at the competition in 2017  represented by Mariana Venancio, with her song “YouTuber” which came 14th.
