Portugal: Second semi-final qualifiers of Festival da Canção 2022
The second semifinal of Festival da Canção 2022, took place this afternoon determining the last set of five finalists.
The presenters of the show were Sónia Araújo and Jorge Gabriel.
A total of 20 acts and songs will take part in this year’s national selection, which will take place in three nights, two semifinals and one grand final. 10 contestants will compete in each semifinal round with 5 of them advancing to the grand final.
The 10 contestants of the night were:
1. Os Azeitonas – Solta a voz e canta
2. Cubita – Uma mensagem tua
3. Inês Homem de Melo – Fome de viagem
4. SYRO – Ainda nos temos
5. Pepperoni Passion – Código 30
6. Milhanas – Corpo de mulher
7. O Vampiro Submarino – Ao lado de mim
8. Jonas – Pontas soltas
9. Blacci – Mar no fim
10. Pongo & Tristany – Dégrá.dê
The results
The result of the second semifinal was determined by 50% of public voting and 50% of the jury.
The five acts that passed in the final are:
- Milhanas – Corpo de mulher
- SYRO – Aida nos temos
- Inês homem de melo – Fome de viagem
- Pongo e Tristany – Dégrá.dê
- Pepperoni Passion – Código 30
So the ten finalists of the grand final are:
- Os Quatro e Meia – Amanhã
- Aurea – Why?
- FF – Como É Bom Esperar Alguém
- Diana Castro – Ginger Ale
- MARO – Saudade, saudade
- Milhanas – Corpo de mulher
- SYRO – Aida nos temos

Festival da Canção 2022 concludes with the grand final show next Saturday, March 12, 2022.
