Portugal wins 2017 Eurovision Song Contest with Salvador’s song “Amar pelos Dois”.

The Grand Final is just over in Kiev’s International Exhibition Center and Portugal with  Salvador Sobral and his song “Amar pelos dois” is the winner of the the 62nd edition of the Eurovision Song Contest .

Salvador topped both , jury and public voting with a big margin . First to reveal were the votes from the 42 juries where Portugal was at first place with a total of 382 points leaving behind Bulgaria at 2nd place with 278 points and a 3rd place for Sweden and 218 points.

Next to reveal were the votes from the public. As the votes were being announced the final outcome turned out a battle for two countries Portugal and Bulgaria. However Portugal got the final 376 points from the public voting and combined with the 382 points from the jury voting won the contest with a total of 758 points , leaving behind Bulgaria with 615 points.
