Romania: Second semi final results of Selecția Națională 2019
The second semi final of Romania’s national selection, Selecția Națională 2019, took place this evening in the city of Arad. Hosts of tonight’s show were Aurelian Temişan και Ilinca Avram.
In this evening’s semi final we saw a total of 12 acts comepete for the six spots in the final. The contestants were:
- 2 Gents – Ielele (Fairies)
- Georgy – Tears
- Olivier Kaye – Right now
- Xonia – Discrete
- TWM – Make me your man
- Johnny Badulescu – Give up now
- Echoes – High heels on
- Aldo Blaga – Your journey
- Letitia Moisescu & Sensibil Balkan – Daina
- Laura Bretan – Dear Father
- Ester Peony – On a Sunday
- Linda Teodosiu – Renegades
From these 12 competing acts , 5 were chosen by the jury to qualify to the final and one act by the public. The 5 acts that were advanced by the jury were:

Letiția Moisescu and Sensibil Balkan – Daina
Laura Bretan – Dear Father
Ester Peony – On a Sunday
Linda Teodosiu – Renegades
The one entry that was favired by the public vote to qualify was:

Today’s six qualifiers will join in the Grand final that is set to take place on February 17, the six qualifiers from the first semi final. Therefore the final line up of Romania’s national final has as following:
