Russia 2018: Julia Samoylova’s thoughts for withdrawal

Julia, in a recent interview, said that just before this year’s Eurovision,decided to withdraw from the contest! More analytically, she started thinking about it during preparations for the contest when things did not go as she wanted it to. Specifically, he stated:

“I was thinking of leaving Eurovision, especially when the preparations we made for the contest did not go as I had imagined. Perhaps my ideas were very vague and unclear. I thought I could deal with those thoughts about my dream. But in the end I am very happy to have done it “.

Russia finished 15th in the second semifinal with 65 points. So Julia did not manage to qualify to Eurovision’s big final. Julia Samoylova represented Russia with the song “I Will not Break”.
