Russia: Sergey Lazarev is back and going to Tel Aviv!
After weeks of rumors and dozens of reports it’s official: Sergey Lazarev will be making the most expected come back in Eurovision and will fly the Russian flag in Tel Aviv next May.

Fans’ most anticipated official announcement of Sergey Lazarev as the next Russian representative at the 64th edition of Eurovision Song Contest is official! As the official announcement was expected to take place on Saturday , February 9, during the Tv show Hello, Andrei! russian tv channel RTR, his Eurovision participation was eventually confirmed today.
However, during the show in which was initially scheduled to announce Sergey as the next Russian Eurovision act we will find out more detail on this year’s Russia’s participation. Sergey Lazarev won’t be returning alone but he will be back with the whole Dream Team that was behind his first Eurovision participation and entry You’re the only one. Namely, Philipp Kirkorov and Dimitris Kontopoulos will sign the composition of the song, Fokas Evangelinos the staging while the man on the vocals will be one again Alex Panayi and behind the production Ilias Kokotos
Although the whole Eurovision 2016 creative team will be back with Sergey in Tel Aviv, the song that we will see this time on stage will be totally different from the Eurovision 2016 entry. This year’s Dream Team and Sergey want to captivate Europe with an epic dynamic ballad
